▪️EN: The Saami Council celebrates its 70th anniversary at the 23rd Saami Conference in Ohcejohka, 18–21 June 2026

The Saami Conference is the highest body and most important forum of the Saami Council, and according to the Saami Council statutes, it is to be held every four years. In 2026, the 23rd Saami Conference will take place in Ohcejohka from 18 to 21 June, where we will celebrate the 70-year history of the Saami Council. During the conference week, the KulturSápmi Conference and other meetings will also be held. The Saami Council will announce more detailed information about the programme, participation, and registration at a later date.
